3. OLD BUSINESS

4. NEW BUSINESS

No new business was presented.

5. ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE REPORT

Vice-president Jerry Goodson W5BFF presented the Activities Committee Report.  The after school ham radio course is going well with four students working towards getting their license.  The hands-on portion of the course will be a High-Altitude Balloon Launch tentatively scheduled for April 8 around 12:45pm.

6. REPEATER REPORT

Jim Collom N5YU presented the repeater report.  The RACC VHF repeater is now a stand-alone system that auto-connects to the Freedom Link System on Tuesday and Thursday nights for the regular weekly nets.  The 145.310MHz repeater offers excellent coverage for Atlanta, so the club repeater can be used for local traffic.  The equipment is in place for Sulphur Springs to connect to the Freedom Link System, we're just waiting on a tower climber to do the final antenna work.  The Prescott, AR repeater is on the bench in preparation for deployment in the near future.

7. SPECIAL PROGRAM

ARRL North Texas Section Manager Nancy McCain K5NLM presented the club an overview of the roles and responsibilities of her position as section manager.

Arkansas Section Manager Dale Temple W5RXU also attended the meeting.  Beyond area ARES personnel, this is the first time ARRL representatives have visited the RACC.

8. MONTHLY DRAWING

The monthly drawing was for a Yaesu FT-2900 VHF Mobile Radio.  Clarence Shilling WB5BYV won the drawing.  Congratulations, Clarence!

9. CLOSING

With no further business, President Steven Smith W5YME closed the meeting.
