February looks to be a busy month for our local Amateur Community.
R.A.C.C will be hosting Entry Level Technician Grade Classes beginning Tuesday, February 17, 6:30 PM at the Atlanta Fire Station. Classes will continue weekly five consecutive weeks. Please reference the flyer in separate mailing and pass to anyone interested in getting a license. These classes are hosted by R.A.C.C. and FREE to the public.
R.A.C.C. will also be hosting a Pancake Breakfast immediately preceding our Regular February Meeting. Serving begins about 8AM, Saturday the 21st. The cost......is FREE! Come enjoy a good breakfast, better fellowship and stay for the meeting. If you can assist with cooking/serving, please come early.
February 24th will be the second Technician Class. If anyone missed the first class, it won't be too late to catch up.
Clarence (WB5BYV) reminds us the Four States Amateur Ham Fest is rapidly approaching!
Move in/set up at the Four States Fair Grounds Fine Arts Building starts at Noon, Friday May 1 with the usual guys there to help you at unload/set up. Doors open 8 AM Saturday with breakfast sandwiches/coffee and the Final Drawing is at 2:30 PM.

Jason (KD5RQB) and the ARES group have been having Mutual Aid discussions with Miller, Columbia and Howard Counties in Arkansas. If you are interested in ARES, please contact Jason.
I realize this is a March event but the 145.230 Group is meeting Monday, March 2nd beginning 6:30PM, for fish and fellowship at Catfish Village on Hwy 155 outside Ore City, Texas. Our Club has an open invitation and you'll enjoy meeting and visiting these folks!
